  1. Should you experience problems with Netscape refusing to run,
  2. look to see if you have a file called c:\windows\system\winsock.dll
  3.  
  4. If this file doesn't exist on your system, you are not set up for
  5. networking. Netscape requires this .dll file in order to run.
  6.  
  7. mozock.dll is meant to be a winsock replacement for those who do not
  8. have networking set up on their system. As stated by Netscape, this
  9. replacement may or may not work (though it should).

  11. Be sure to read the mozock.license.txt file then copy the mozock.dll
  12. file to c:\windows\system\winsock.dll (under Windows 95) 
  13. or to c:\winnt\system32\winsock.dll (under Windows NT 4.0).

  15. This is an unsupported .dll so asking Netscape for help will not
  16. be of any benefit.
